Shawl Ministry, Knit Wits

Perhaps the longest-running ministry in the church, this group, colloquially called the "Knit-Wits," makes shawls for comfort and for prayer for those who are chronically ill, homebound, have experienced a bereavement, or need a special blessing. 

 The group meets at the church weekly, and enjoys its time together as it reaches out to those in need.  The Knit Wits maintain a small inventory of shawls and also make them specifically for individuals.
